The 18th edition of the “Cinturon de Oro Tournament” (Golden Belt) will begin

With great excitement, the producer and organizer of the tournament, Luis Fernando Ramirez, officially announced the beginning of the 18th edition of the “Cinturon de Oro” next March 1st.

“The format of the tournament has always been copied but never been as good as this one” Luis Fernando said; this year the tournament established a new mark, more than 264 boxers have tried to register.

The tournament “Cinturon de Oro” has been the crib of future champions, 10 world champions have emerged during this tournament: Jose Antonio Aguirre, Adrian “Confesor” Hernandez, Israel Vazquez, Christian Mijares, and Juan Carlos Salgado among others.

“We need to give back the people quality bouts, where the boxers step on the ring to fight their hearts out on amazing battles. In the “Cinturon de Oro” Tournament, we are looking for great young boxers that in future can become idols” Luis Fernando said.

Next March 1st the Jose Cuervo Salon in Mexico City will hold the battles of 170 young fighters that will try write their name in golden letters.
